@bethan.jones@echo.co.uk , this is brilliant work, thank you. I do think the combination of "online convenience" and "local service" is the key for LD. It makes total sense in a post pandemic world where more people have migrated online but also feel the need for the proximity of local services. It's an impactful combination that i believe will resonate with patients -

New website IA and content tested well
Feedback on the new website (from Francesca's testing)
Overall the new website tested so much better than the old website. People were easily able to find information they needed in order to feel comfortable to sign up, and were not left with questions or concerns as they were with the previous one. No one called anything out in particular, but the new content, design, illustrations and images all contributed to this. -

Significantly improved conversion with landing page content
Our landing page experiments were based on the new website homepage, which I designed the content for. We saw a significant uplift in conversions (to order) from these pages - around double the numbers we saw on the existing marketing site. -

It’s absolutely wonderful. Everything Bethan touches turns to content gold! Very few people have had this much of a transformation effect on the experiences we’re putting out and in a very short period of time.Really enjoyable to work with. A wonderful approach with getting some initial content down and then collaborating and iterating as context grows. In my first couple of months at Echo, I created a content style guide. This helped build consistency and readability in Echo's content, and acted as a reference for people writing their own copy. -

I ran a voice and tone workshop to help define Echo's brand personality and voice. Based on the outcomes, I created a set of voice and tone guidelines to help steer content across all of Echo's channels. -
Found a new job during the peak of Covid-19
Started my job as Content Designer at Echo completely remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic.
